Eternal Mario

Finally! I finished this. You may not know, but I completed it during my recovery from a cold.

So here it is. Let me introduce you my own fan-made Mario power up, the Eternal Form! I wanted to create one that could be used in final battles, similar to Super Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise or the powered-up form that my OC, Sakura Aino/Star Fighter Heart (from my Magical Girl series Royal Star) will have. I used Mario (as Eternal Mario) as an example for this artwork.
    The eternal form is one of the most powerful transformations in the Mushroom World, strong enough to defeat immortal beings. Unlike most Power Ups, it requires a very special and unique kind of item known as the Eternal Crown. Created by Ishirine, the Goddess of the Holy Star, the Eternal Crown grants the user the power to transform into his/her eternal form. Along with two other sacred treasures, there it is only one existing in the Mushroom World, but it is also one of the most potent items almost never known in existence.
    To transform into this form, one must have the crown in his/her possession, and chant an incantation to it (which can also be uttered in one’s mind). In the process, a light shines on the artifact. Once the incantation is fully said, the said light then shines on the user's body before the Eternal Crown itself grants him/her the power and strength, transforming him/her into his/her eternal form. It is not everyone who can use it, however: only those have a good heart and soul can use its powers.
    The incantation used to transform into one's eternal form was originally “Oran’ilis, Kash Lassil…Dakara shin reni koran”, which literally means “Please, Crown of Eternity…Grant me your power” in Lumieric. After the crown's powers were reawakened by Lady Annalina Starwhisper (current and possibly the most famous high priestess of the Holy Star), it has been changed to a new one, so the next users (including Mario) could use it without having to utter “odd” words. This new, evolved incantation is “Eternal Crown…Please, grant me your power”.
    While the Eternal Crown is not absorbed by the user, it is actually worn by him/her (as you can see, Mario wears it in his Eternal Form), which is a sign that one is using its powers. Ishirine has created this power up item to help heroes, such as Mario or Annalina, to defeat those that are among the most dangerous menaces, namely Bowser and Buluodriu. It is stated by the Goddess of the Holy Star herself that it is the only weapon to defeat the Koopa Troop’s members once and for all, and the only one to end their immortality.
    There are some changes for the eternal form's user besides wearing the crown (if he/she is the one who wears it): his/her clothes will change from its original colors to white and gold and have decorative, angelic white feather wings behind his/her ears. The footwear become white with golden soles and, if wearing any, the gloves change into white (otherwise, they will still be the same if they are already white). The user will also have a cape and jeweled wings. The emblem on the cape's brooch, as well as the color of both the cape and the wings' bigger crystals, depend on the character who uses the Eternal Crown. The user will also have a bright golden aura around oneself, and sparkles will emit from his/her wings.
Each of the crown's jewels represent a realm, which ruler is a member or has recently joined the leaders of the forces of Lei’Sholenar (which will be known as the Great Lei’Sholenar in the future).

In this form, the user is capable to fly and his/her powers are highly increased, making him/her stronger than how he/she normally is. He/she is also granted invincibility, making him/her invulnerable to enemy attacks. [...]

The borders on the wings and crown, as well as the brooch, are supposed to be a lighter gold, but while trying, I thought it was just too much bright, so I left these being simply white with the shades. Mario is also supposed to be surrounded by a bright golden aura around him, as well. I decided to put a gradient background behind him and add blurred speed lines, so yes. Despite this, I am proud enough of the result.
